In today’s time letting things go has become much more difficult. Though we have so many options than ever before, the human behavior to cling on to things that they can’t have remains kind of immortal. In the world where we see people struggle with emotions and different state of mind, I came across a book that is a delight to read. It definitely comes with a strong message.
When you are through the story you might feel that the protagonist as done something supernatural and beyond a human’s capacity. But, in reality, the author “Rahul Karn” has talked about how important it is to balance life with peace of mind. In this book, the author has established how the central character practices “Zen Meditation” and how it helps the character to address the challenges of life.
Rahul Karn has already written multiple books with the wisdom on Zen Masters. The purpose is to help readers evolve in their life. When it comes to the book “Love & Zenkai” it talks about how a spiritual person resolves the conflict of his love. It talks about being calm can help one in life. What I liked the most about the book is the way a fictional story is incorporated with so much of the meaning and teachings of Zen Meditation and its way of life.
I definitely have a bias when it comes to a book that has a strong message and this is one of them. Reading should help a person evolve. This book “Love & Zenkai” makes one contemplate, how do they lead their life. It also says how challenges can be addressed. How emotional turmoils could be addressed with a win-win for everyone involved. The book also talks about how acceptance is the key to have a stable mind.
The book also has a smooth flow of chapters. The book has got a good face. It is a very quick read. The storyline is strong. The narrative of the book is pleasant. What makes it interesting are the twists and turns in the tales. This is what keeps the reader hooked on to the book. The book also has a pleasant cover.
Overall the book makes a good read. It might be difficult to accept the ending for some, but the power of having control over self and equanimity can give results that provide the ultimate peace of life.
Do check my quick review on social media:
In a Nutshell:
An expression of equanimity. Well written. Good Read.
What I liked:
The flow of the chapters
The strong message, and the way it is integrated into the storyline.
What could have been improved:
In the chapters, at times you seek for more detailing of events.
But, that can be overlooked as the book has good continuity and keeps the story and message intact
