There are so many views in this world that are completely misunderstood, but even though there are speakers who can explain them better, most likely they fail to get the mileage to reach people. Not only that many a time to voice out and break a myth or challenge a perspective is all the more difficult.

But, how about if these meaningful perspectives are built seamlessly with stories. When there are events explained in a metaphor and the message is conveyed with a story to the audience. To do that, It not only takes effort from the storyteller’s point but also an art to keep it precise without losing the motive of the message in the story.

Malana Cream: Chauvinist Pigs & Third Wave Feminism is a book that could represent this effort by the Author Shalini Singh. It conveys and disregards the confusion that people have with terms like chauvinist and feminism. At the core of the story is a strong message and crystal clear thought process. Not, only that it is backed by a soothing narrative and a well-paced storyline. The one that keeps the reader involved. The characters are so exciting, that you are in awe of them. You can create a picture in the head about how the events are unfolding.

I personally liked the narrative and the integration of the message in the book. The editing of the book is precise and crisp. In a nutshell, I would say that the Author Shalini Singh could convey her heart out to the world in an interesting story. Definitely, the readers would like it. This book is an eye-opener in many ways. Malana Cream is definitely a book to recommend.
